**Entering the Stadium** Chelsea FC operates a two stage queuing procedure to coordinate and moderate the flow of supporters to the turnstiles to ensure a safe entry into the stadium. On arrival at the queuing system the following processes will occur:
- Pre-entry ticket checks
- Body and bag search
- Electronic ticket scan
- Entry through turnstile During these procedures it may be necessary to temporarily hold supporters at cordon points to achieve a safe and steady flow through to the turnstiles. Turnstiles will be open two hours before kick-off, and it is advised supporters are in their seats no later than 30 minutes before kick-off. Please note that large numbers of supporters arriving late cannot have an expectation of making it into the stadium before kick-off. **Security Measures**
Enhanced security measures are in place and supporters are advised to arrive early to facilitate these. It is requested supporters avoid bringing bags where possible as enhanced searches will be taking place. Please note that bags larger than A4 will not be permitted entry into the stadium. Please note that explosive/narcotic/pyrotechnic detection dogs will be present throughout. **Safe Standing (Barrier/Rail Seating)**
Safe standing in seated areas, it should be noted, is distinct both from persistent standing in seated areas, and from safe standing in conventional terraced standing accommodation. At Stamford Bridge in the Away Supporter Sections standing supporters are protected from the risks of forward movement by the installation of suitably designed independent barriers in front of each seat, or by the provision of a suitably designed seats that incorporates barriers. The design of each seat and seating row allows for free-flowing lateral movement into and out of the seating row. Safety management procedures are in place to mitigate against encroachment onto the gangways. Safety management procedures are in place to manage the numbers of supporters entering the safe standing accommodation and safety management procedures are in place to manage the behaviour of supporters. **Banners/Flags**
There is only a limited amount of space to display banners and flags within the stadium and they must therefore be no larger than 80cm in depth and 250cm in width. Banners and flags must not obstruct the view of others, cover advertising signs, or cause a safety hazard. Under Ground Regulation 12 the following acts constitute prohibited activity under the Discrimination Commitment: 12.1 any conduct, act, or statement, whether express or implied, that is abusive insulting, intimidating or offensive; or 12.2 any conduct, act, or statement, whether express or implied, that is discriminatory by means of race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, disability, colour or national or ethnic origin; or 12.3 any other activity in contravention of the Discrimination Commitment. All banners and flags must not display any abusive or threatening words, images, political statements or be deemed unacceptable. Flag poles are not allowed. All banners and flags must carry a Fire Safety Certificate. **Activations**
Please note that the pre-match activation “Countdown to Kick-off” may include a light show and special effects. **Supporter Behaviour**
Ground Regulations specifically outlaw using words that are, or behaving in a manner that is, threatening, abusive, insulting, foul, improper, offensive, violent, indecent, or provocative is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or result in ejection from the Ground. In addition to and without limiting the forgoing, engaging in chanting or other verbal and/or non-verbal actions and/or gestures concerning football or other tragedies (whether done at a Match, in-person or remotely (via any electronic communication, social media or otherwise)) (“Tragedy Chanting”) is strictly forbidden. Any individual found to have engaged in Tragedy Chanting will be subject to a ban from the Ground. In addition to the Club, in accordance with the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, any other member club of the Premier League from time to time may enforce a breach of this paragraph 9. As such, an individual in breach of this paragraph may also be subject to a ban from any or all other matches of or stadia and/or locations owned, occupied, or utilised by any other member clubs of the Premier League from time to time, for such periods as may be determined by the relevant club of the Premier League. Chelsea FC takes all forms of discriminatory behaviour very seriously and believes all forms of discriminatory chanting, including antisemitism, homophobic, biphobic, tragedy and transphobic chanting to be abhorrent behaviour that has no place in football, nor society. The club continues to work very closely with the football authorities and organisations such as Kick It Out to combat discrimination and make the attendance at football matches as enjoyable for everyone as it should be. Any form of discriminatory or abusive chanting or behaviour is an arrestable offence and will not be tolerated. **If you hear it, report it. In common with many clubs across the country, Chelsea operates a cashless stadium at Stamford Bridge. We appreciate the majority of fans were already using cards to make their purchases at Stamford Bridge, so the impact of going totally cashless should not be very noticeable. You can use card, contactless card and mobile payments throughout the stadium to make purchases for refreshments, merchandise and even programmes on the day. **Cash Machines**

As part of Chelsea’s continuous efforts to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, changes have been made to the age restrictions for stadium entry. All ticket holders must be over 16 years old to enter the stadium unaccompanied. Juveniles under the age of 16 will not be permitted entry unless accompanied by a person aged 18 or over. **Emergency contact wristbands for families visiting Stamford Bridge**
An initiative is in place at Stamford Bridge for a specially designed children’s wristband that assists if families become separated or children become lost. The voluntary scheme allows parents/carers to complete emergency contact details on the inside of the wristband which will assist club staff in reuniting families quickly and safely. The wristbands are available on site on both matchdays and non-matchdays and can be collected from various venues at the stadiums. They are only usable for that day’s visit.
